Company History

Cook Brothers Insulation was incorporated in April 1983 by Roy Cook, Andy Cook and Robert VanKeuren.   The company started with approximately 16,000 square feet.  Today, we occupy over 140,000 square feet.  We are located in the west bottoms area of Kansas City, Missouri. With many seasoned employees who know how to fabricate insulation in an efficient manner, we know the value of being ready for the unexpected emergency order.  2008 represents our 25th year as a company.  We are thankful for our customers who have sustained our business over this time.

 

Cook Brothers Insulation specializes in low temperature insulation for Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, which is primarily utilized in the food processing industries.  These primary products are fabricated from Styrofoam, Isocyanurate, and Foamglas to insulate pipes, fittings, valves, vessels and specialty heads.  Cook Brothers Insulation primarily sells to industrial insulation contractors and distributors.

We fabricate insulation to industry standards.  And, with the benefit of computer-driven design, we custom fabricate pipe insulation no matter how complex. When it comes to manufacturing a precise-fitting, low temperature pipe insulation system, Cook Brothers successfully meets the challenge.
